Can dirt be evil? Not conceptual evil that’s either moral or natural. But dank, almost ethereal malevolence comprised of sand, silt, and clay.
Lois Greene believes so. Of course, no one calls her “Lois” anymore. These days she’s Floppy Mossy, the kooky old cat lady of Jasper Mill. They claim evil came to the Mill in the summer of ‘94 with the death of little David Abrams at the summer camp. But that just shook the hive. Legends say it arrived with John Tate, the madman who plagued the town in the ‘60s. But Mossy knows better. Evil is Jasper Mill.
It’s always been in there. Always. Right there in the dirt.
Joey Carpenter doesn’t know it, but the dirt is coming for him. At just fifteen, he’s learned what the hands of depraved men can do. It had been an innocent conversation with another gay person, another “unicorn.” Something to make him feel less alone in the world. But he awoke in the ICU, realizing it had been much darker.
Joey will escape his bigoted father. He’ll flee from the courtroom trial that threatens to publicize his secrets. He’ll run all the way to the Tennessee mountains, to Kamp Kromwell, where the dirt awaits him.

A.J. Grea is an author and screenwriter living in East Tennessee with his husband of twenty years, three snarky cats, and a meddlesome squirrel who will not stay away from the windows.
A lover of 80s horror, he began writing short stories at the age of nine. One of his first stories, "The Monster Who Ate My Brother," resulted in a parent-teacher conference where his mother had to assure the concerned faculty that his siblings were fine.

When not spinning hair-raising yarns, A.J. spends time as most middle-aged comic book fans do -- playing video games and collecting childhood toys that remind him of when his only responsibility was being home before street lights began to glow.

About

Quiet Vickie Jenkins prefers to move invisibly among the student body of Rutgers High School along with her horror fanatic friend Kyle Cooper. Her only weakness is Rod Rainfeld, the handsome football captain who seems to have it all, except loyalty from his friends and acknowledgment from his father, Xavier, the self-proclaimed town benefactor.
Xavier has added a monster to his collection of antiquities. It is known by many names, but its most infamous title is DRACULA. Unfortunately for Vickie, he's neither sexy nor suave. As a matter of fact, he's fairly revolting!
Drawn by fate, the bloodlines are reuniting. Renfield, Murray--they are the ones who saved humanity, the ones whose diaries were purchased at auction in 1895 by a humble author in search of inspiration for what would be his ultimate masterpiece.
Vickie can run, but she cant hide from her unreal reality--the truth that will lead her to abilities she never knew she possessed, parents she never knew existed, and a battle to save all of humanity--and all before graduation! Who is she?
The answers to the questions are flowing in the veins of
VICKIE VAN HELSING!

Graduation--that moment of freedom, that glorious phase of life where one ventures beyond the obscurity of adolescence into the world of maturity. For Vickie Jenkins, college was supposed to mean this and more. With Dracula and his vampire brood defeated, there was to be no more hiding, no more monsters lurking behind the veil of shadows. She was to be liberated, free to shed that persona of Van Helsing once and for all.
Yeah, well, good luck with that!
A unique opportunity brings Vickie to the infamous Naughton University, where she realizes strangers are lurking in the moonlight. With its ominous reputation, NU has done its best to conceal its sordid past, a terrible history about to lead Vickie into a deep, dark forest of horror. Something has knowingly steered her to the NU campus, something with an intricate purpose that involves Vickie and her ancestry, and that something is not her friend.
Could it be the dashing TA, Matt Bullworth? Maybe it's her mysterious new roommate, the witchy Nancy Abernackle? Is it the ever-charming Jacob Slate and his Omega Tau brothers? Make no mistake...something in the darkness hunts her. It wants to acquire her, possess her, bring her into the fold. But maybe the question isn't who?
Maybe it's why?
Vickie must find the key that unlocks the labyrinth before the thing prowling inside its woolly walls eats her alive!

“Vickie is smart and tenacious…” – Publishers Weekly
“…this NOT a shiny shimmery vampire novel. Oh no. The vampires are REAL SCARY vampires.” – Amazon Reviews
“This is not a sweet sparkly romantic vampire…it's the old school Drac from back in the day, and he hasn't aged well!” - GoodReads

Four words changed the world...
THE FEDERATION IS DEAD
It was the impossible war—the heroes of the Federation against the scourge of the planet Xenoe and their dictator, Goliaric. With the weaknesses of the Federation exposed, both sides crumbled. After Earth’s heroes were dead, Ophelia Keating conquered the political podium, pushing her way into the Presidential chair and closer to world dominance. The new commander-in-chief was free to enact changes to “better” the world which included establishing a one-world governmental body known as Parliament. Then came the worldwide decree intended to control Earth’s overwhelming population crisis Keating called HRV-EST, the Human Reproductive Vector, yet another shackle on the human race.
But that was years ago, too many years for Doctor Andre Hudson to remember. He lost faith long ago, shedding his youthful alter ego, Hacker, and conceding to a monotonous, middle-aged life. That is, until accounts of superhuman happenings begin to flood the headlines. His hope is rekindled as the search begins for the young superheroes. He must locate the newfound champions and prepare them for combat before they are destroyed by a government that wants to crush the Insurgence once and for all. But will his young superheroes be willing to fight a war that is not their own?

“Within the superhero genre, so often dominated by darkly serious tales, THE FORGOTTEN FEDERATION is a breath of fresh air.” – Indie Reader
“Exuberant and entertaining, slyly avoiding camp with plausible, albeit superpower-infused, characters.” – Kirkus Reviews
